We took a few mothers and their children to visit Charleston. We first visited Charlestown’s landing, a plantation that teaches about the first settlers in Charleston, and the way they lived and survived. We then went to the historic slave market and bought some souvenirs. We also toured the Angel Tree on John's Island, one of the oldest trees in SC, and visited Folly Beach with the mothers and their children.
