HELLO LADIES!
It's April 13, 2020 and you know what that mean... Let's check real quick with our Baby Emergency Fund.
We are 8 days into our 4th 21 Day Challenge. As of right now, I'm at $128 in my BEF...WOOOOHOOOOO! Remember, we are not to despise small beginnings. Continue to commit to the work and allow the LORD to bring the increase.
This week, were going to take a moment and pause with Mr. Dave Ramsey devotion and let's address the fly in the room: COVID-19.
Never had I imagine this is what 2020 would look like. It's like, EVERYTHING has come to a slow stand still. Children are being home schooled via internet. Some people like myself are able to work from home, while others have been put on furlough or laidoff completely. Unemployment is at an all time high, but that's ok, hard working individuals need it, the slack ones do too. It was created for such a time as this.
Also, this is a perfect time that our adversary will try to come into your thoughts and plant fear, worry, and doubt. Before long you will be filled with anxiety and/or depression, and when they come in , its a WWIIIII. We don't need any of that. Make sure to take some quiet time for yourself each day to read His word and talk to our Heavenly Father in prayer. Call your loved ones and do a check in. Pray alot more. Drink plenty and plenty of water. Eat healthy foods and snacks. And REST SIS.
One last thought. If you are one of the 50+ million Americans that will be getting the 2020 Stilmulus checks...Ladies, I plead with you to CONTINUE TO PAY YOUR BILLS!
PAY YOUR RENT.
PAY YOUR LIGHT BILL.
PAY YOUR WATER BILL.
PAY YOUR GAS BILL.
PAY YOUR PHONE BILL.
PAY YOUR INSURANCE.
You may not be able to pay 100% of everything, but please pay something. When we recover from this, the bill collectors will be there with their hand out wanting what's due them. In the state of South Carolina, a law has been passed that tenants can NOT be evicted during this pandemic, but when COVID-19 clears, that law can't save you. Call your debtors and make payment arrangements, and stick to them! We are going to rise victorious from this, the whole world will see that we serve the true and living God, Elohim, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
I close with this, times are hard for us ALL right now. No one is exempt. But God. He has given me, us, promises in His word that we are to hold fast to..
I want to encourage you with these scriptures as we all take each day, one at a time.
Epesians 6:10-18
"10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."
